PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval device capable of shortening a retrieval time.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a memory device comprises a first comparator, a determination unit, a second comparator, and a retrieval unit. The first comparator compares an accepted first key with a second key read out from a nonvolatile memory. The determination unit determines whether an error can be corrected on the basis of the first comparison result by the first comparator. The second comparator compares the first key with the second key in which an error is corrected by the correction unit. The retrieval unit reads out data corresponding to the second key in the nonvolatile memory when the second comparison result matches in the second comparator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
