CAMERA TO REDUCE CHARGING TIME OF ELECTRIC FLASH AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A camera and control method are provided to reduce the charging time of an electric flash by installing a generator around or inside a motor and supplying electric energy to the electric flash. CONSTITUTION: A brightness measuring unit(10) measures the brightness of a subject. An automatic measuring unit(20) measures a distance to the subject. A photographing control unit(30) outputs a control signal according to a photographing operation by connecting with output terminals of the brightness measuring unit, a first release switch(S1), a second release switch(S2), a photographing mode switch(S3), a back cover switch(S4) and a zooming switch(S5). A shutter driving unit(40) photographs according to the control signal from the photographing control unit. An electric flash unit(50) is formed as an existing electric flash unit. An information displaying unit(60) displays the status of a camera according to the control signal. A motor driving unit(70) winds/rewinds a film and completes the lens by connecting with an output terminal of the control unit. A film motor(M1) winds and rewinds the film by connecting with an output terminal of the motor driving unit. A generator(80) is connected with an output terminal of the film motor.
