PURPOSE:To simultaneously enlarge and display a trend graph inside a designated area on a CRT display device with the display of the original trend graph by designating an optional position inside the trend graph displayed in the CRT display device. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a trend graph enlargement calculating part 7 inputting a position signal designating an optional enlargement area inside the trend graph displayed in the CRT display device 1 and calculating the display range of the enlargement trend graph based on previously registered display information and a trend graph enlargement display processing part 8 taking out sampling data stored in a sampling data preservating part based on the display range calculated in the trend graph enlargement calculating part 7 so as to display it in the enlargement trend graph so that the enlargement trend graph is simultaneously displayed in the CRT display device 1 which is displaying the trend graph.
