PURPOSE:To improve the operability and the portability of a portable terminal holding device. CONSTITUTION:A portable terminal holding device is provided with a holder 22 which holds the upper end part of a portable terminal 11, a clamp 23 which serves as a lock means to fix the holder 22 to the terminal 11, and a clip 24 which can hang the holder 23 on a waist belt, etc. In such a constitution, an operating part 17 of the terminal 11, a battery pack 13, etc., are never covered by the holder 22 when the upper end part of the terminal 11 is fixed to the holder 22 via the clamp 23. Thus the replacement of batteries is possible while the terminal 11 is held by a hand, and therefore the operability of the terminal holding device is improved. Furthermore the terminal holding device can be used with the holder 22 held by the waist belt, etc., via the clip 24 and also can be held even when the pack 13 of a rather large size is loaded to the terminal 11. As a result, the portability is improved for the portable terminal holding device.
