PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical network system that prevents collision of incoming signals from slave stations to a master station and quickly realizes communication. SOLUTION: In this optical network system, a slave station 14 uses a transmission data processing section 16 to generate data in an HDLC format capable of error detection or the like and allows an optical communication control section 15 to transmit the data to a master station 11, the master station 11 uses a received data processing section 13 to detect an error in the transmission data and to detect collision of the data, requests the slave station 14 being a transmission source whose collision is detected to retransmit the data. The slave station 14 whose retransmission is requested allows the transmission data processing section 16 to generate and retransmit the retransmission data. |
