SUBSTRATE FOR LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING MASTER PLATE AND LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING MASTER PLATE USING THE SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate suitable for a lithographic printing master plate capable of making a lithographic printing plate having excellent printing durability and no printing defect. SOLUTION: This substrate for lithographic printing master plate consists of a raw paper having the following properties both surface of which are coated with a polyolefin resin. The raw paper contains a polyamide polyamine epichlorohydrin and at least either an alkylketene dimer or epoxy fatty acid amide, and has⊖5 mm water absorptivity by Klemm's method specified by JIS P 8141 (after three hours). The adhesion strength between the raw paper and the polyolefin resin is preferably >=300 g.
