PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stabilized operation and stop by connecting a latch means for holding the operation of a main circuit in stop state between a first long contact and a second intermediate contact thereby throwing/releasing a current limit means into/from the main circuit stably while preventing oscillation of the main circuit upon insertion of a live line. SOLUTION: An electric connector includes three contacts, i.e. a long pin 1, an intermediate pin 2 and a short pin 3, wherein the long pin 1 has the other end connected with the power receiving terminal T2 of a main circuit 11, the intermediate pin 2 is connected through a current limiting resistor 5 with the other power receiving terminal T1 and the short pin 3 has the other end connected with one end (a) of the current limiting resistor 5. A latch means LAH is connected between the long and intermediate pins 1, 2. 17 and 15 represent PNP and NPN transistors, respectively, wherein the transistor 17 has emitter connected through the long pin 1 with a first power receiving voltage end and collector connected with one end (a) of the current limiting resistor 5 which is connected through resistors 18, 16 with the intermediate pin 2.
