The invention relates to a device for delivering cold fresh water through a pipe (5) from a container (2) resting on the bottom of the sea to a receiving structure on land provided with water taps. The invention is characterized by the inner of the container (2) being divided into two compartments by a flexible membrane (3). One compartment (4) is connected by a pipe (5) to the structure (1) on land and contains fresh water. The other compartment (6) contains sea water and is by a further pipe (7) connected to a source (8) of water on land, which on the fresh water in the first compartment exerts a pressure that is decided by the elevation of the water tap that is positioned highest up in the structure. |
