USE OF HEAT-TREATED ELECTRODE CONTAINING MIXTURE OF POLYAMIC ACID-PVDF BINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkali metal or alkali metal ion electrochemical battery, capable of discharging at a high temperature by using a flexible and electrode which is not brittle. SOLUTION: A mixture of high polymer binders insoluble in a nonaqueous organic electrolyte, activating an alkali metal or alkali metal ion electrochemical battery, is disclosed. This mixed binder mix provides a flexible and not brittle electrode, and a battery with an electrode, capable of discharging at a high temperature buit therein. A preferable binder mixture is the blend of polyvinylidene and a polyamide binder.
