PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for automatically checking accounts receivable/receipts and updating a quantity of stock with respect to the merchandise recorded in a books on the selling side of the merchandise when the buying side of the merchandise uses a card which can be used for paying money such as a debit card, a credit card, etc., in the case of paying. SOLUTION: The method is provided with (1) a step for relating identification data for identifying the accounts receivable to the accounts receivable recorded in the books preserved in an information processor, (2) a step for inputting prescribed data required when using the card and identification data for identifying the accounts receivable from a card terminal device when a paying side uses the card for paying the accounts payable, (3) a step for transferring the identification data inputted from the card terminal device at the step (2) to the information processor based on payment completion data showing the completion of payment of money by using the card, which is generated on a side operating the settlement system of the card, and a step for performing checking processing of the accounts receivable/receipts related with the identification data matched with identification data transferred at the step (3) in the accounts receivable recorded in the books in the information processor. |
