摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct drive actuator of a structure that allows simultaneous occurrence of direct action and rotational action with no intervention of reduction gear mechanism, as aθ-X actuator of improved response. SOLUTION: Theθ-X actuator comprises a rotary motor 10 and a linear motor 20. The rotary motor 10 comprises a cylindrical armature RM1 composed of a rotary motor armature core 12 and a rotary motor armature winding 13, and a hollow cylindrical rotary field part RM2 provided rotatably inside it. The linear motor 20 comprises a linear motor armature winding 21 fixed on the inner periphery of the cylindrical rotary field part RM2, and a linear motor field LM2 provided for reciprocation inside the linear motor armature winding 21. An output shaft 43 is provided inside the linear motor field LM2 that rotates along with the linear armature by a ball spline 23 and is slidable in the axial direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
