<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail of curved surface shape coinciding with the curved shape of a backing part on the building side. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail is provided with at least a plurality of balusters 30 vertically arranged at predetermined spaces; an upper horizontal core member 20 fixed at both right and left ends and supporting the upper ends of the plurality of balusters simultaneously; and a cover member 40 for covering the upper horizontal core member.
