PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ease of use of a water heater having functions for bath and space heating. SOLUTION: In the case a device has judged from its learning that both operations of bath and space heating can be simultaneously performed in the flow rate in the bath and space heating return path, and a user has input by an external input device 32 for a simultaneous operation of bath and heating, but it comes upon a situation that both the operations are impossible, then a controller 31 performs a function 34 provided in the device that firstly either one of the operations is done, and then the other operation is performed after the first operation has been finished. Thus the user can use the water heater more conveniently.
