PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire including an inner peripheral surface on which an inner liner member 1 having a three-layer construction of a film 2 whose main components is a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition made of the thermoplastic resin and an elastomer and rubber sheets 3A, 3B laminated on both sides of the film is stuck, and a lap-spliced portion 4 with which an end part of the film 2 in a tire peripheral direction overlaps via the rubber sheets 3A, 3B, which suppresses peeling-off of the lap-spliced portion 4 at the time of vulcanization molding or tire failure, such as a crack in the lap-spliced portion 4, after molding.SOLUTION: The thickness of a film 2 located at least on an inner side of a lap-spliced portion 4 in a tire radial direction is progressively reduced toward a tip 2e of an end part of the portion, the tip 2e is bent outward or inward in the tire radial direction, and the tip 2e is covered by rubber sheets 3A, 3B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
