PURPOSE:To shorten the waiting period of the doffing operation, and to increase the operation efficiency of the spinning machinery, by placing a package transfer conveyor at the center of the machinery, and doffing the full package by an auto-doffer from both sides of the machinery. CONSTITUTION:A conveyor 17 for the transfer of package is placed at the center of the spinning machinery frame, and is driven constantly. When the auto- doffer 20 running along the spinning unit 11 reaches the position corresponding to the full package, the conveyor 17 is temporally stopped to carry out the doffing if there is no package P at the position corresponding to the full package on the conveyor, or there is a package P at the position, the conveyor 17 is driven until it reaches the position devoid of the package P and the doffing is carried out. |
