The invention relates to the special-purpose cranes, in particular to pipe-layers used in the construction and repair of pipe-lines. The pipe-layer includes the tractor force module, mounted onto the trackdrive system with displacement about its longitudinal axis, containing the motor and the gear assemblies, the working equipment, including a folding boom equipped with a load hook, a cargo winch, a device, modifying the boom length and a hydraulic system of the drive thereof.The folding boom, the cargo winch and the device, modifying the boom length, made in the form of a hydraulic cylinder, are mounted onto a plate-base, placed onto the track-drive system between the force module and the crawler track. The folding boom is made in the form of a telescopic frame, the boom head of which is placed inside the base with the possibility of stepless, alternating movement along the latter and of fixing in the preset positions by means of the hydraulic cylinder, the rod of which is joined with the boom head.The result of the invention consists in increasing the efficiency, the load-carrying and cross-country capacity, in reducing the mass and overall dimensions thereof.Claims: 7Fig.: 4
