PURPOSE:To allow reading out and writing of signals stably with a temp. change within a drive by providing a surface coating layer having the high thermal conductivity higher than the high thermal conductivity of a substrate and high transmissivity in total light transmittance on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:Guide grooves are provided on the polycarbonate substrate 1 and a composite layer 2 composed of silicon nitride and aluminum nitride, a magneto-optical recording layer TbFeCo 3, a UV adhesive agent 4, a polycarbonate substrate 5 having a smooth surface, and a surface coating layer SiO2 6 are provided. This surface coating layer 6 has the thermal conductivity higher than the thermal conductivity of the substrate 1 and has the high transmissivity in the total light transmittance. The deterioration of the information signal by the temp. change in the drive is prevented and the reliability of information recording and reproduction is improved. |
