<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box which is suitable for packaging a plate- formed object such as a eased CD, which facilitates packaging of the article and can obtain sufficient cushioning functions, which can reliably support a quantity of articles even less than a predetermined quantity, and which is easy to manufacture as it can be formed of a single punched piece of a corrugated fiberboard. SOLUTION: An article support 5 which supports an article by article support plates 11 and 19 is provided inside a barrel 2. The support plates 11 and 19 include an insertion hole 12 into which the article can be inserted and a plurality of contact tabs 13 foldably connected along an inner periphery of the hole 12 via a crease (e) with restoring force kept and coming into elastic contact with sidewalls of the article inserted into the hole 12 for supporting the article.</p> |
