PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic program guide device that displays many broadcast scheduled programs as a list, selects a specific program among the many broadcast scheduled programs displayed as a list and allows a viewer to view its preview so as to allow the viewer to easily and quickly retrieve programs. SOLUTION: An identifier M is displayed to programs whose preview is broadcast on a list of broadcast scheduled programs displayed on the basis of program guide data, and data configuring the preview with respect to the broadcast scheduled programs displayed as a list are recorded in cross-reference with the broadcast scheduled time. When the user selects a specific program among the programs with the identifier M attached thereto among the broadcast scheduled programs displayed as a list, the preview corresponding to the selected program is displayed as a slave picture. |
