PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a storage medium wherein the number of writings is restricted to a very small number by preventing unnecessary photographed images from being stored in the storage medium wherein the number of writings is restricted to a very small number. SOLUTION: How a storage medium is loaded in the digital camera is discriminated (S206), and when it is discriminated that a third storage medium (one time memory) is loaded (yes), the photographed images are stored in the third storage medium (S209) in response to a user's storage instruction (S207).
