PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of dispersing water into fullerenes, which is high in safety. SOLUTION: In the method of dispersing water into the fullerenes, water is added to a ground and crushed mixture obtained by grinding and crushing the crystal of a monosaccharide or oligosaccharide, fullerenes and a non-ionic or anionic surfactant, the fullerenes are hydroxylated fullerene. As the monosaccharide or oligosaccharide, sugar, glucose or the like can be used, and as the surfactant, polyoxyethylene hardened caster oil, a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester or the like can be used. It is possible to produce the aqueous dispersion of fullerenes by using a water-soluble saccharide and an inorganic salt such as KBr or NaCl in place of the crystal of the monosaccharide or oligosaccharide.
