PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device capable of cleaning at a low torque, besides, capable of surely detecting a processed image, and to provide an image forming device using the transfer device. SOLUTION: The transfer device 3 for transferring an image on an image carrier 1 to a recording material 2 is provided with a transfer member 4 for nip-carrying the recording material 2 together with the image carrier 1, and the surface of the transfer member 4 is constituted of polyimide resin 5. Besides, a metallic cleaning scraper 6 is arranged in contact with the surface of the transfer member 4. The image forming device is constituted by using the transfer device. And, as for an intermediate transfer type image forming device, the surface of the intermediate transfer body 1b is constituted of polyimide resin 7, and a metallic cleaning scraper 8 is arranged in contact with the surface of the intermediate transfer body 1b. |
