PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably transmit, even when automatic photographing is continued during a communication disabled period, all photographing data acquired during the communication disabled period to an external device after restoration of communication.SOLUTION: An imaging device is configured to start automatic photographing by a remote control by an external device and transmit photographing data of a subject to the external device during the automatic photographing, and stores photographing data not transmitted to the external device during the automatic photographing. During the automatic photographing, the imaging device calculates the remaining amount of a power supply battery necessary for transmission of the stored untransmitted photographing data, and ends the automatic photographing provided that the current remaining battery amount of the power supply battery falls below the necessary remaining amount. |
