PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce failure due to the color mixture of toner caused in a developing device on a downstream side in the case of providing a toner recycle means for restoring toner left after transfer and removed by a cleaning device to the developing device in an image forming device where plural image carriers are arranged in a transfer material carrying direction, a toner image is formed on each image carrier by the developing device and transferred to transfer material, and the toner left after transfer adhering to the surface of the image carrier after transferring the toner image is removed by the cleaning device. SOLUTION: The toner recycle means is provided between the cleaning device 27A and the developing device 22A located on the most upstream side in the transfer material carrying direction, and the toner recycle means is not provided between the cleaning device 27D and the developing device 22D located on the most downstream side in that direction. |
