PURPOSE: An inorganic electroluminescent display device protection apparatus and method for manufacturing the same is provided to allow for a mass production of protection boards, while achieving an improved yield rate of the display device. CONSTITUTION: A protection apparatus comprises an inorganic material deposition board(110) having devices(130) divided into unit cells(115) and which display information to each unit cell; a protection board(200) attached to face the inorganic material deposition board, and which has protection caps(230) sealed to the portion corresponding to a screen display area, with the devices accommodated within the protection caps, so as to protect the devices from an external environment; a drying agent(240) attached to the bottom surface of the protection cap, and which protects pixels from moisture; and a sealing agent(300) coated along the edge of one or the unit cell or the protection cap, and which seals the gap formed between the inorganic material deposition board and the protection board so as to prevent moisture or air from being introduced into the gap.
