摘要 PURPOSE:To further lower oil pressure at the end of speed change and reduce a speed change shock by feedback controlling an engaging transient oil pressure and restricting the control in the direction of lowering the engaging transient oil pressure on executing the feedback control. CONSTITUTION:An engaging transient oil pressure control means feedback controls the engaging transient oil pressure of the frictional engaging device of an automatic transmission in such a way that the member rotating speed of the automatic transmission the rotating speed of which is varied by the execution of speed change detected by an actual rotating speed detecting means is varied along the track of a target rotating speed which is settled by a target rotating speed settling means. On carrying out this control, the control in the direction of lowering the engaging transient oil pressure is restricted by a restricting means and a margin for further lowering the engaging transient oil pressure at the end of speed change is left for that restricted amount. At the end of speed change, the engaging oil pressure is temporarily lowered by the command of an oil pressure lowering command means to reduce a speed change shock. Thereby, a speed change shock can be always favorably reduced.
