<p>PURPOSE: To reduce power loss by providing a duct comprising a superconducting material for feeding power and a channel for feeding a specified cryogenic cooling liquid thereby supply both power and cooling liquid to each section of a system. CONSTITUTION: A duct 120 supplies a cooling liquid to a subsystem 101 and a duct 121 provides a return path of the cooling liquid from the subsystem 101. A conductive path is formed of a conductor extending across insulating parts 130, 135, 137 between a power supply 112 and electric terminals 146, 141 of the subsystem 101. These insulating parts 130, 135, 137 are inserted such that the cooling liquid flows freely into the ducts 120, 121 while insulating conductive components electrically. The cooling liquid flow is controlled, at the joint of the ducts 120, 121, by means of a valve 148 such that a sufficient pressure difference is ensured between the supply duct 120 and the return duct 121 and a desired flow is produced entirely in the subsystem 101.</p> |
