PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium free from a mark deviation problem as an optical information recording medium using a recording material having a small decomposition accelerating effect such as a porphyrin derivative, that is, a material which exhibits an endothermic reaction in decomposition, a material which generates little heat by decomposition or a material such as performs recording by the release of a substituent or the decomposition of only a substituent without decomposing the basic skeleton in a recording layer and to provide a recording method with no mark deviation problem. SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium obtained by forming at least a recording layer based on a porphyrin derivative on a substrate, recording is performed while increasing the maximum recording power in recording pulse components in accordance with the increase of data mark length. |
