The main board (1) of the ski has a small pilot ski (2) joined to its front part by an axle that allows it to turn to the right or left. The front boot binding (4) is fixed to the pilot ski. The front binding is fixed on the axle of the pilot ski so that it is moved by the skier. A stop (6,7), on each side of the main board, limits the turning of the pilot ski to prevent damage to the skier's leg during a fall.
