摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the environmental condition of a vehicle without being influenced from dispersion of operating directivity of a driver by estimating the environmental condition of a vehicle based on at least either of the maximum changing rate of an acceleration operated quantity at operating acceleration of a vehicle, and the maximum deceleration at operating a brake. SOLUTION: A road environment estimation means 105 is carried out by a neural network for estimating road environment NNRD. The input are a throttle valve opening statistical value TA*, a vehicle speed statistical value V*, a longitudinal acceleration statistical value G*, the maximum changing rate of throttle valve opening ACCMAX at operating acceleration, the maximum deceleration GNMAX at operating a brake, or the like. Four output values from NNRD1 to NNRD4 correspond to the estimation results of respective other road environment. The estimation means 105 can obtain the accurate estimation result of road environment for vehicle without being influenced from operating directivity of a driver by contribution of at least either of the throttle maximum changing rate ACCMAX at operating acceleration of a vehicle and the maximum deceleration GNMAX at operating brake of a vehicle.</p>
