PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent caulking from loosening due to creep and to unify caulking stress by forming a caulking ring interposed between the angle part of a member to be caulked and a caulking member out of a plate having spring elasticity into an L-shaped section of smaller corner angle than the corner angle of the angle part of the member to be caulked. SOLUTION: This caulking ring 1 is formed out of a plate having spring elasticity into an L-shaped section with a corner angle smaller than 90 deg. byθ. A flange 3 is a resin part having the corner angle of the upper part of the circumference 90 deg., inserted into a casing 2 until the bottom face is brought in contact with a frame 4 fitted into the casing 2 of a metal member, the ring 1 covers the upper part, and the end part 2a of the casing 2 is caulked. The ring 1 is elastically deformed so that the corner angle becomes 90 deg., and loosenness due to creep of the flange 3 is absorbed. Stress added to the flange 3 by the ring 1 is stabilized at the intensity corresponding to the deformed angleθ, and stress added to the flange 3 is uniform on the whole circumference. In addition the external form of the product does not become large due to the caulking.
