PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dust collecting efficiency and to improve air purifying capacity in an air purifying device. SOLUTION: A water tank 8 is disposed in a main body case 1, and the air containing the dust sucked by intake force is mixed with water in the water tank 8, and the mixture is sucked to a motor-driven blower 3, and the mixture is agitated by applying the rotation of the motor-driven blower 3 to forcedly capture the dust contained in the air to the water, and the mixture is returned again in the water tank 8 and the air and the water are separated naturally and the air is evacuated. In this way, large purifying capacity can be obtained with small air flow since a filter is eliminated and there is no air flow loss due to the filter, the purifying capacity does not decrease by clogging of filter, and maintenance is simple and inexpensive since the water is exchanged when the water in the tank is soiled.
