摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a minimum power source voltage to a semiconductor integrated circuit for normal operation. SOLUTION: A semiconductor integrated circuit 10 is provided with a digital signal processing circuit 12 and a minimum operating voltage detecting circuit 14. A power source circuit 16 generates a sufficiently higher DC voltage than a power source voltage, required by the semiconductor integrated circuit 10 and a voltage-adjusting circuit 18 applies an output voltage of the power source circuit 16 by converting the voltage, according to a voltage control signal from the minimum operating voltage detecting circuit 14. The minimum operating voltage detecting circuit 14 detects the minimum voltage, where the digital signal processing circuit 12 can be operated in a designed performance and controls the voltage adjusting circuit 18 so as to adjust a power source voltage of the semiconductor integrated circuit 10 at the minimum voltage.
