PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which proper image can be formed even on a special paper. SOLUTION: A transfer current applied to a first transfer means 21 and a second transfer means 22 is increased by 10-30% from that at the time of using ordinary paper in the case of using the special paper such as cardboard and an envelope, and also the temperature of fixing rollers 18 and 19 is raised by 10-30% from that at the time of using the ordinary paper. Thus, the defective transfer and the defective fixing of images of both sides of paper are prevented.
