PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for forming a nonasbestos joint sheet superior in processibility of a sheet so that an unvulcanized composition for forming the joint sheet can be well thrust between two rolls without slippage when passed through a sheeter unit, and a sheet formed by the passage through the sheeter unit can be vulcanize and laminated to secure a desired strength and make the sheet uniformly. SOLUTION: This composition for forming the nonasbestos joint sheet comprises a fluororesin, a rubber, rubber chemicals, a filler and if required, a nonasbestos base fiber and a solvent. The composition comprises the fluororesin of 10-60 wt% and the rubber of 1-7 wt% on the basis of the total solid content of 100 wt%, and the cleavage filler except graphite. A method for manufacturing a vulcanized sheet for forming the nonasbestos joint sheet so that the composition is inserted between a pair of rolls consisting of a hot roll maintained at a temperature of 120-160°C and a chill roll maintained at a temperature of≤50°C with being laminated in the hot roll side and formed by pressure and vulcanization is provided.
