A vehicle management system and an operating method thereof are provided to offer total vehicle management service such as a driving record of a vehicle, trouble diagnosis data, and customized information based on a gas station by using gas stations on user's main driving route as a position for collecting and transceiving information. A vehicle management service system comprises the followings: a monitoring module which is mounted on a vehicle and linked with the connector of a vehicle electronic control device; a gas station terminal(200) which transceives information in each gas station and issues vehicle driving diagnosis; a gas station AP(Access Point) which is connected to the monitoring module through Bluetooth wireless communication and connected to the gas station terminal and a vehicle information management server through the Internet; a server(300) which is installed in a vehicle information management center connected to the gas station terminal through the Internet; a terminal(400) which is installed in a vehicle inspection linked to the server installed in the vehicle information management center; a terminal(500) which is installed in a used car sales company linked to the server installed in the vehicle information management center; a terminal(600) which is installed in an insurance company linked to the server installed in the vehicle information management center; a mobile phone which receives contents, which the vehicle information management center analyzes and provides, as an SMS(Short Message Service) message; and a Bluetooth mobile phone(800) which receives emergency trouble diagnosis contents and custom information, which the monitoring module provides through Bluetooth communication.
