PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument device giving a novel three-dimensional effect to a display panel. SOLUTION: This measuring instrument device includes an indicator 40, the display panel 50 disposed behind the indicator 40, and a frame body 80 disposed behind the display panel 50 and comprising a cover part 85 extending along the display panel 50. The display panel 50 has a transmission part 53 for causing at least a part of the cover part 85 to be see-through. A domain of the cover part 85 corresponding to the transmission part 53 has a decorative pattern forming means 90 for allowing an observer to visually recognize a prescribed decorative pattern D through the transmission part 53.
