The method for dispensing ice-cream such as soft ice cream, sorbet or cold foam and cream, comprises releasing a food raw mass from an outlet valve (18) of an outlet line (16) connected with a storage container (12). The food raw mass comes in contact within the outlet line with an expandable cooling medium that is transported from a liquid or solid phase into gas phase. The food raw mass present in the outlet line and/or emerging from the outlet line withdraws for cooling the same heat. The gas emerges from the cooled food raw mass outside of the outlet line.
