PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam clamp and a lifting method using the same, which can cope with various types of a flange, has a simple structure, is light in weight, can be handled easily, and can fix a chain block or the like to a building beam.SOLUTION: A beam clamp for connecting a chain block or the like to a building beam comprises: openings 2a, 3a into which end parts 8a, 8b of a flange are inserted; lower extension parts 2b, 3b which extend beyond a half of a flange width when the flange end parts are inserted into the openings; upper extension parts 2d, 3d whose tips come into contact with a top face of the flange; a plurality of first bolt holes 2f, 3f provided at a position of the lower extension part corresponding to the flange width; second bolt holes 2e, 3e provided in the lower extension part end part; two clamp plates 2, 3 having fitting holes 2g, 3g of a shackle provided in the lower extension part on the opposite side of the second bolt holes; and bolt nuts 5, 6 for coupling either one of the first bolt holes of one clamp plate with the second bolt hole of the other clamp plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
