PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor and a method of manufacturing the passenger conveyor capable of reducing the number of parts, preventing breakage of a rail member, and facilitating passenger conveyor manufacturing works.SOLUTION: A main frame 1 has a plurality of main frame components 22 aligned in the longitudinal direction of a passenger conveyor. A footstep rail 21 for guiding the movement of a footstep 2 has a plurality of rail members 23 provided on the respective main frame components. The footstep rail 21 is formed by interconnecting the rail members 23 provided on neighboring main frame components 22. At least one of neighboring rail members 23 is a rail member for adjustment whose length can be adjusted. By the adjustment of the length of the rail members 23 for adjustment, the entire rail members 23 for adjustment are accommodated in the main frame composing bodies 22. |
