METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PREPREG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a prepreg providing a prepreg useful for improving the positional precision of molded inside layer circuits in the production of multilayer boards. SOLUTION: The method comprises impregnating glass cloth with a resin composition varnish, drying, heating and forming, and the tensile force applied to the cloth in the process of drying a prepreg is 0.9-1.4 times the maximum tensile force applied to the cloth in the process of weaving the cloth. The method reduces the residual stress in the drying process and is useful for improving the positional precision of molded inside layer circuits in the production of multilayer boards.
