PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily update software when different versions of drive control software are present between a unit and an electronic apparatus that can mount the unit.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal projector main unit 100 can mount a projection lens unit 107. The projection lens unit includes a storage part 122 storing information of software to be used for controlling drive means 124, while the liquid crystal projector main unit includes a storage part 103 storing information of software and an MPU 102 for controlling driving of the drive means in accordance with the information of software stored in the storage part 103. When the version of software stored in the storage part 122 is newer than the version of software stored in the storage part 103, the MPU updates the information of software stored in the storage part 103 by using the information of software stored in the storage part 122.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
