PURPOSE:To obtain a belt having superior characteristics of the corrosion-proofing and the wear resistance by applying rubber material or plastic resin on one or both faces of a base cloth made of polyester dip cord pocessing high strength and superior anti-fatigue force. CONSTITUTION:The base cloth of this belt is woven with polyester fiber having 85 or more mol percent repetive construction unit of ethylene terephthalete and the high polymerization of 0.80 or more inherent viscosity IV. The belt is formed from polyethylene telephthalete dip cord to which dipping liquid is applied in order to improve the adhesiveness to rubber and which has both upper twisted thread and lower twisted thread having 2,00-3,000 twisting constant. The dip cord has the characteristics of the breaking strengrh A>=7.5/d, the middle expansion B<=5% and the dry heat contraction ratio C<=5%(C<=-B+8). Rubber material or plastic resin is applied on one or both faces of the above base cloth, whereby providing the desired belt. |
