PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium having high image density of a print and capable of shortening a time up to a color stabilization after printing as short as possible at a low manufacturing cost without age deteriorating due to light or ozone. SOLUTION: The recording medium comprises an ink acceptive layer having an upper layer containing an alumina pigment and a lower layer containing an alumina pigment having a larger BET specific surface area than that of the alumina pigment in the upper layer of a two-layer structure on a base material.
