PURPOSE:To provide a manufacture of a glass run where a glass sliding member heat-welded to an extrusion molding part is not peeled off by heat at the time of form molding in relation to the glass run where a form molding part is joined to the extrusion molded part and molded. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacturing of a glass run, though an extrusion molding part to which a glass sliding member 418 is heat-welded is set up in a molding tool 701, a substrate molding material for a form molding part is cast, vulcanized and molded, prior to its casting, an end part of the glass sliding member 418 is fixed to a substrate of an extrusion molding part 410 by a rivet member 419. Therefore, temperature at an end part of an extrusion molding part 410 becomes higher than a heat-welded temperature at the time of vulcanization, even if the glass sliding member 418 is apt to peel off from the substrate of the extrusion molding part 410, the glass sliding member 418 is fixed to the extrusion molding part through the rivet member 419. Therefore, the end part of the glass sliding member is not peeled off from the extrusion molding part. |
