PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tightening device which can avoid unbalance caused in a tightening process, in the tightening device for disconnectably connecting a tool, workpiece 3, etc., provided with a hollow shaft 1 having a hollow shaft holding/receiving part 2 to an operating spindle 4 of a machine tool. SOLUTION: In this tightening device, providing a tightening slope 7 in the hollow shaft holding/receiving part 2 to made a tightening pawl 8 supported from an operating spindle 4 capable of abutting to the tightening slope 7 by a correspondingly inclined tilted surface 9 to make the tightening pawl 8 capable of tightening to operate so as to generate pressing force between a hollow shaft 1 and the operating spindle 4 by a tightening head 13 guided movably in the axial direction in the operating spindle 4, a first flat surface 24 provided in a tapered surface 14 for operation in the external periphery of the tightening head 13 is engaged with a contact surface 25 provided in a pawl tip end part 12. |
