<p>The head of the mower with a nylon yarn according to the invention achieves, thanks to its light weight and smaller sizes with respect to the known bigger ones, higher mowing speeds, possibility of cutting thicker blades and edging to the soil at the same nominal power of the motor, a smaller price and longer life time. The head as specified in the invention consists of two concentrically placed discs which are connected by means of a tensioning screw body which with its end turns forms a force locking connection with the circular grooves made on the two contact plates of the discs, where in these plates two additional arc-shaped grooves are made, and in them the two yarns for cutting so that both ends are reaching out freely as cutting sections. The fixation of the yarn in the mentioned grooves is achieved by the central bolt with which both discs are placed on the shaft of the motor of the mower.</p> |
