PURPOSE: A method for predicting level of upright cylindrical piston type holder is provided to predict level of the holder more accurately by applying operation experience of the holder and analysis results of operation characteristics of the holder. CONSTITUTION: The method for predicting level of upright cylindrical piston type holder comprises the steps of setting an interlocking cycle of level of gas holder; obtaining a deviation file before correction (Fn) calculated by subtracting gas holder level of previous cycle from the present gas holder level, and obtaining a completion deviation file (Fpn) by complementing slope difference of the deviation file before correction (Fn); setting a microcycle(14) from the completion deviation file (Fpn); obtaining a slope in a gas holder level predicting direction(12); and predicting the holder level.
