PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of contacts fixed to an insulation housing at a lower position than first electric contacts and the legs of second electric contacts having legs extending from the contact toward a rear side of the insulation housing and then heading forward along the bottom face of the insulation housing. SOLUTION: The horizontal electric connector 100 is provided with an insulation housing 110, first electric contacts 120 equipped with contacts 121 press fitted into it and contacting a counterpart conductive part and legs 122 extended from the contact and getting out to the rear side of the insulation housing and coming down, second electric contacts 130 equipped with contacts press fitted into the insulation housing from behind at a position lower than the first electric contacts and contacting the counterpart conductive part and legs 132 extended from the contacts and directed forward along the bottom face of the insulation housing after getting out to its rear side, and leg support part 140 equipped at the bottom of the insulation housing and for the leg of the second electric contact to get press fitted into from behind.
