PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nursery pot aimed for mainly growing leaves, stems and the like important as a fruit vegetable, making an inexpensive price of the product, being safe and harmless, capable of being biodegraded in the soil as it is when being disposed, and hardly causing a toxic substance even if being incinerated. SOLUTION: This nursery pot is obtained by molding a mixed material comprising a boiled fiber material obtained by subjecting a bamboo fiber and a plant belonging to the grass family, such as reed to the boiling treatment, a composite auxiliary material comprising at least one kind or more materials selected from a carbonized plant material obtained by heat-treating a plant material except timber to carbonize the plant material, a powder of a calcium- based waste material such as bone dust, and a powder of foul dung, and a small amount of urea. Preferably, the pot is obtained by mixing a silicon dioxide powder with the mixed material, and molding the resultant mixture.
